No actual baby, just fantasy baby naming.

What do you think?

I love Freya.

BabloHoney · 30/01/2018 07:34

Gorgeous

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/01/2018 08:56

Very nice.

k2p2k2tog · 30/01/2018 08:57

Wss on the list for child three, except he was a boy. Freja too.

angelopal · 30/01/2018 08:59

I like it.

WetWipeofWonder · 30/01/2018 09:00

Nope not for me. I just don't like the sound of it.

BBQsAreSooooOverrated · 30/01/2018 09:00

I have one so I'd say it a lovely name.

CurlyRover · 30/01/2018 09:00

I love the name Freya. If I ever had a DD I'd love to call her that.

Maymi17 · 30/01/2018 09:06

Love this name. If I have another girl she would be called Freya.

Afternoon · 30/01/2018 09:08

I don't really like it TBH. Too wispy and reminds me of fraying material.

Footle · 30/01/2018 09:21

Friday baby.

MikeUniformMike · 30/01/2018 13:19

Probably more popular than you think. Quite nice though. Don't like the Freja spelling.

HappyLollipop · 30/01/2018 13:23

I'm not a fan of it personally, it's quite popular too as two of my friends named their daughters Freya last year.

LadyPug · 30/01/2018 13:31

Love it!!!

wowfudge · 30/01/2018 16:10

Nope - reminds of an absolute cow at school!

doowapwap · 30/01/2018 16:13

wowfudge - I knew a Freya at school, unusual for it's time... Born in 87

wowfudge · 30/01/2018 16:15

Isn't it from Norse mythology? The one I knew was born in the early 70s.

wowfudge · 30/01/2018 16:15

What about Astrid?

doowapwap · 30/01/2018 16:17

Yes it's the Norse goddess of love and fertility. The Vikings used to believe she met dead warriors and led them to Valhalla (I could be wrong)

mumof2sarah · 30/01/2018 16:19

My niece is Freya, I love it. I'm loving the names Jessie, Jessie-Anne Sophia and Deeanne atm too x

Pinkywoo · 30/01/2018 16:19

It's also the name of a bra manufacturer for big boobs, all my bras are Freya!

FizzyGreenWater · 30/01/2018 17:12

No, really don't like this one. Just not a nice sound. And reminds me of the bras!

Lollyb86 · 30/01/2018 17:13

My daughter's name I adore it

mimibunz · 30/01/2018 17:14

I love it but a German friend told me it used to be a nickname for common girls in Germany and she wouldn’t use it. Different strokes for different cultures I guess!

MikeUniformMike · 30/01/2018 17:16

Affraya?
