Yes it's the Norse goddess of love and fertility. The Vikings used to believe she met dead warriors and led them to Valhalla (I could be wrong)

My niece is Freya, I love it. I'm loving the names Jessie, Jessie-Anne Sophia and Deeanne atm too x

It's also the name of a bra manufacturer for big boobs, all my bras are Freya!

I love it but a German friend told me it used to be a nickname for common girls in Germany and she wouldn’t use it. Different strokes for different cultures I guess!
