Middle name ideas

We have pretty much decided on Harriet as the first name.

We had discussed Lily as a middle name but I'm put off by it's popularity.

Surname begins with T and I'd like to avoid HRT, HAT and similar initials.

My middle name is Jane and I hate it. I'd much rather choose a name I like! There's no family names that we want to use.

Please help!!

Cecily, Faye, Mary, Pearl, Sarah or Vera?

How about Lila or Leila as an alternative to Lily?

We have chosen Harriet as our girl name and will use Matilda as the middle name. Other names we considered were Clara, Ruth and Beatrice.

I love Matilda but the surname makes it have too many T's - shame because it's probably my favourite!

I think Lily is lovely for a middle name. I don't think you should worry about popularity of the name when it comes to the middle name.

My middle name is Duncan after my great grandfather who I'm honoured to be named for. Mum was Cameron after his surname.

I think Harriet Wren has a lovely feel to it.

I think a longer classic name sounds best.

I would avoid anything twee or trendy, especially if your surname is a common one.
