Make me a name combo....

Please help me name a potential sister for Ottilie. Surname is Gattor so no first names that use nn 'Ally' and no initials that spell anything awful (HAG/FAG etc). I'd for certain use Allegra as first name if our surname was different.

I like old names which are less commonly used, nice meanings a bonus.

Current long list is (no particular order).....Claudia, Alice, Polly, Clara, Celestia, Arabella, Beatrix, Cecily, Tabitha, Flora, Delilah, Genevieve, Emmeline, Margot, Gloria, Millicent, Heidi, Leila, Allegra, Theodora (teddy), Felicity (Felix).

Looking for first name and middle name combos please!

Also, Romilly and Blossom (for the long list). Very open to extra suggestions!

PanannyPanoo · 14/01/2018 20:14

Clara was one of my favourites, a few of yours were on our list,
we also like.
Florence.
Jemima
Verity

I think Ottalie and Verity are lovely together.

Verity Allegra Gattor or Verity Clara Gator

having said Clara Gattor outloud it is very close to alligator so would probably avoid Clara as a first name.

bluechameleon · 14/01/2018 20:16

My favourites are Clara, Arabella, Genevieve and Emmeline.
Combos I like are:
Clara Genevieve
Clara Felicity
Arabella Beatrix
Genevieve Cecily
Emmeline Clara
Emmeline Beatrix

DearMrDilkington · 14/01/2018 20:23

Is it bad I really like Ally Gattor?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 14/01/2018 20:25

Clara Evangeline.
Evangeline Celeste..
Savannah Willow
Vivienne leila

ruralmother · 14/01/2018 20:48

Not bad Mr Dilkington, I quite like it too, but after long and careful thought it's a no.

Not sure about first and middle name combinations but my favourites from your list are: Clara, Beatrix, Delilah, Margot, Heidi and Theodora

RavenWings · 14/01/2018 21:00

I'd suggest: Electra, Amity, Maren, Damaris, Angelica, Annika, Carmen, Paloma, Zinnia.

I really don't like Romilly, Blossom, Polly, Tabitha, Cecily, Theodora and Flora. Genevieve, Felicity, Alice, Arabella, Millicent and Leila are reasonably commonly used ime, which I notice you didn't particularly want.

Verity Allegra Gattor

Sorry Pananny , did you actually just suggest giving the child the initials VAG? Grin Confused Grin

VinnyTheVagina · 14/01/2018 21:03

I saw VAG too!!

ruralmother · 14/01/2018 21:06

VAG might be one to avoid....

I love that you have Millicent on your list. My DD is a Millicent and I have not met another and every single professional/HCP we have come across has never heard of one before. Makes me proud.

Yika · 14/01/2018 21:35

Some others to throw into the mix

Tamara
Celia
Hester
Cressida
Blythe

ruralmother · 14/01/2018 21:45

Hi hopeful, I met a lovely one once (must be aged 18/19 now), she must have made a good impression!

HopelesslyHopeful87 · 14/01/2018 21:46

I would avoid using it if I were you though or you're at risk of having a tilly and a millie as nn.
