Celeste?

I've got a bee in my bonnet about this name. I just keep going back to it. If it weren't for that awful 'Daphne and Celeste' band I think it would be perfect - nice sound, nice meaning. But because of the band I am worried it sounds a little cheesy. What do you think?

Funny how some stupid band from 20 years ago sticks in your brain. I actually love the name Celeste, and a lot of people even if they did grow up in the 90s won't remember some band that were only around for a year or so. It's a very pretty name and one of my favourites.

Celestine is a little bit nicer imo but Celeste is still really nice!

I love Celeste, it's what I would have named DD. Daphne and Celeste is so long ago that nobody will think of it really.

I think it's a really horrible sounding name. My grans incontinent, scratchy cat was called Celeste, when she died, the next one was then called Celeste too.

I've never heard of Daphne and Celeste.

But I have heard of the Marie Celeste, and that association would put me off, sorry.

Celeste is the name of Babar the elephant's wife in the story books. And Babar the elephant is adorable.

I like Celeste, I think it's lovely.

I was going to say I like the name, but then I said it out loud and all I could think of was the Mary Celeste. I'm not sure I would my daughter's name associated with one of the great mysteries of the world.

Celestine is nicer.

Ive never heard of Daphne and Celeste. But there is a comedian called Celeste Barber who is bloody hilarious so I’ve come to smile whenever I hear the name.

The Pill I used to be on was called Cilest...that was what I thought of.
