I don’t like it and think it’s hard-sounding, and about as timeless as Melanie, Kylie or Tania (i.e. not).

But I’m Australian and grew up with loads of Laras in the 1980s.

Lara Isabella and Olivia April

I love Lara as I think it's not as common as Olivia and will grow with her more, but something keeps taking me back to Olivia x

Husky why were there lots of Lara’s in 1980s Aus?

No idea! But I think of it as a ‘mum name’, like Michelle or Lisa. There were 5 Laras in my year & the year above at my (very small) high school!

Adore Lara Olivia, but it seems bonkers but because we're stuck between the two names we don't want to combine then incase we have another little girl in the future
