Parker?

Thoughts? What "family" of names would you say it falls into? Too much of a surname for a first name?

I agree seen as a traditionally Americanised name but I love lots of surnames as first names.

Parker
Carter (my nephews name)
Cooper
Hudson
Miller
Fletcher

If you think about it lots of names we currently use now are also surnames e.g Harrison, Thomas. If you like a name use it, the child will always suit the name they are given in the long term

This was nearly ds's name but we changed our mind chickened out .

It is very American surname as last name, but I've never heard a child round here called it.

Just don't then call a daughter Penelope
