Not at all, gorgeous name. She won’t be a baby or toddler for long anyway, better to pick a name that will suit her all her life

Love it, has always been my favourite, unfortunately couldn't use it with our surname.
DD has a name I worried about for the same reason but we went with it anyway, she'll be an adult a long time!

I adore Carmen, 'grown up' names as you put it actually are even more adorable on babies I think then cutesy names. It'll carry her through to adulthood beautifuly and lovely nick names with Carmen for friends to use when she's a teenager.
