Which do you prefer? Popularity doesn't bother us too much – we live outside the UK and all these names are foreign/unusual but heard of/pronounceable where we live.

Eli
Ezra
Owen
Augustus
Erik

Owen - lovely classic name (it's the name of a not very nice ex and I still like it which is saying something)

Eli, Ezra - nice names by maybe a bit trendy

Erik - cartoon Viking/Banana man

Augustus - pretentious

Augustus Gloop! Augustus Gloop!
The great big greedy nincompoop!
Augustus Gloop!
So big and vile
So greedy, foul, and infantile.

I love C&TCF though so probably not everyone will immediately sing that in their head Grin

I like Ezra and Erik.

I love all of these! You certainly like vowel names Grin My personal favourites are Eli or Owen. I think if you went for a longer name i.e. Augustus you need to think about how it would be shortened and if you like the shortened forms too.

IggyAce · 20/10/2017 10:21

Ezra

scroogem · 20/10/2017 13:26

user1459464195 Yes, we really do love vowel names!

That's our problem too – we really like all of them. I think Augustus was a slightly more out there suggestion because we like the nickname Gus, but it could well end up as the middle name.

Opinion on here seems pretty evenly split right now between all of them!

Ezra is one of my absolute favourite boy names, but I can't use it (I already have an Emma).

Augustus is lovely too.

Lapena17 · 20/10/2017 13:42

Erik is lovely.
Owen, not as unique as the others
Ezra seems to be quite popular at the moment if this matters to you.
Augustus is unusual...in a good way Smile Shortened to Gus is fab too.

FizzyGreenWater · 20/10/2017 13:42

Ezra, I find Eli such a whiny sound.

Lapena17 · 20/10/2017 13:44

I forgot Eli! I'm not a fan personally.

DiegoMadonna · 20/10/2017 15:02

Erik or Eli

Jooni · 20/10/2017 17:23

Eli. I love August but Augustus not so much!
