I have actually just heard of a baby girl called Ren - which is the Latin for kidney I think?

AdaColeman · 05/10/2017 21:04

Skin would be cool and hip for a boy.

Tartyflette · 05/10/2017 21:08

Renal. I think it's more unisex myself.

Ren is often short for Irene (pronounced in the French way -- Ee-ren)
I have a French friend Irene who is Ren.

Nostril -- he's an upper-class, serious little boy.
He has a more frivolous sister, Follicle.

Mrsknackered · 05/10/2017 21:13

Yes @tartyflette I know those delightful children.
Their parents are Nucleus and Amylase Ventricle.

I think Amy-lase works well hyphenated. Also Re-Tina or Mam-Mary ☺️

Leatherboundanddown · 05/10/2017 21:23

Brow or Lobe

AdaColeman · 05/10/2017 21:23

Perhaps that's what all those little boys called Max already have on their birth certificates.

Tartyflette · 05/10/2017 21:25

NotEnoughCushions · 05/10/2017 21:32

Most are much nicer with Irish spellings:

Boilg (stomach)

Ceann (head)

Scornach (throat)

Glúin (knee)

Lámh (arm)

Duáin (kidney)

Srón (nose)

I can see any of those catching on!

wageslave · 05/10/2017 21:38

Haemorrhoids, known as piles for short
