Both are lovely.

PastaSauceHoarder · 30/09/2017 22:04

I personally prefer Elliot - such a sweet name!

Both nice but I think Michael is due a comeback. I don't like mike though. Well it's ok on a man but not a child.

early30smum · 30/09/2017 22:09

Elliot 100%!

Heathen4Hire · 30/09/2017 22:09

Elliott.

2cats2many · 30/09/2017 22:10

I love Mikey for a child. I've known two gorgeous chubby cheeked toddlers called Mikey in my time.

17caterpillars1mouse · 30/09/2017 22:12

Michael. Elliot's are everywhere here. Not met a baby Michael

rennieroo · 30/09/2017 22:22

My ds (10) is Michael

SumAndSubstance · 30/09/2017 22:32

I don't mind Elliot, but I really like Michael and I agree with pp about Mikey, although the two I know are now great hulking young men, but still known as Mikey! It works if you do want a diminutive.

pipilangstrumpf · 30/09/2017 22:39

I prefer Michael. Classic and underused.

Not so keen on Mikey (as in Mouse) though.

AutumnSkiesintheSummer · 30/09/2017 22:47

Do you mean Mickey?

2cats2many · 30/09/2017 22:52

No. Mike-ey. It works really well with a littleun.

AutumnSkiesintheSummer · 30/09/2017 23:01

Sorry I was referring to the previous poster who said Mikey (as in Mouse)!

Michael ( Mikey for short )

Doilooklikeatourist · 30/09/2017 23:05

Mikey

My Key
Not Mickey as in Mouse

stellarfox · 30/09/2017 23:25

Elliot!

Sophronia · 01/10/2017 00:07

Definitely Michael! Strong and classic. Elliot is a bit wet.

SuperBeagle · 01/10/2017 05:19

I love Elliot, but I think that Michael is due a comeback.

numbmum83 · 01/10/2017 05:27

I wanted Elliott for my Sons middle name but ended up with Michael as a trade as it was his Dad's middle name too .

I still prefer Elliott. I didn't realise back at the time how underused Michael actually is

ChocolateCrunch · 01/10/2017 07:30

Elliot 100%. Never been a fan of Michael, sorry, or Mikey.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/10/2017 10:28

Michael for sure, it's a great name !

NotAgainYoda · 01/10/2017 10:33

OyyVeyy · 01/10/2017 10:47

pipilangstrumpf · 01/10/2017 10:56
