Annie or Nancy

Can't decide between them. DD1 is called Martha. Possible middle names at the moment are Patricia or Elizabeth (family names). Any thoughts?

Annie Patricia is gorgeous

I always think of the 90s song Nancy Boy when I hear Nancy

ElizabethJeanMcBricker · 29/09/2017 20:02

Another vote for Annie!

LynetteScavo · 29/09/2017 20:03

Nancy Elizabeth

ShowOfHands · 29/09/2017 20:09

My aunt was Annie Miriam but we called her Nance. I think one is quite commonly the nickname for the other.

I really like Annie Patricia

Nonameyet1 · 29/09/2017 20:49

I know some siblings called Martha and Nancy, however I prefer Annie.

Nancy Elizabeth sounds lovely.

Annie Elizabeth is nice too depending the flow with your surname.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 29/09/2017 20:51

Nancy Elizabeth is gorgeous - both cute and elegant.

PandaCat · 29/09/2017 20:54

Of your choices I'd go with Nancy Elizabeth!

Nancy v underused

Dustbunny1900 · 29/09/2017 21:02

Wow just be different over there across the pond, here Nancy is thought of like Susan/Donna, Bernice/Lorraine/Terri/Paula in the plain old fashioned names that just will never come back into style in the foreseeable future. Also used as an insult "don't be such a Nancy" .
I'd go with Annie as I think it's wicked cute p, reminds me of a freckled face little girls

SuperBeagle · 29/09/2017 22:57

Annie.

Nancy is considered very outdated where I am.

Pemba · 30/09/2017 03:34

Annie by miles.

Nancy is a bit frumpy by comparison, although it's apparently slightly fashionable at the moment (isn't one of David Cameron's daughters a Nancy?)

CakesRUs · 30/09/2017 03:49

I like them both.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 30/09/2017 03:58

Nancy Elizabeth

GiantSteps · 30/09/2017 07:46

Both Annie and Nancy are familiar (or shortening) versions of Anne.

So use the formal version - Anne -with whichever familiar version you prefer.

CakeRattleandRoll · 30/09/2017 08:40

Nancy Elizabeth

I like Nancy Patricia, it's a bit different, and very nice too.
