Maddie would be the official name.

Can't decide!

Sabrina. Smile

Pemba · 22/09/2017 02:37

Madeleine is lovely, Maddie cute as a nickname for that only.

Sabrina is nice, not as nice as Madeleine though. Pity.

Argeles · 22/09/2017 02:40

Sabrina.

SerfTerf · 22/09/2017 02:40

Sabrina

Maddie

pipilangstrumpf · 22/09/2017 07:09

Sabrina!

(Maddie sounds like someone mad)

ChocolateCrunch · 22/09/2017 07:33

Sabrina

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/09/2017 08:23

Sabrina, it's pretty !

Lozmatoz · 22/09/2017 08:27

Apparently Sabrina the teenage witch is making a comeback so you may want to bear that in mind

Bonez · 22/09/2017 08:37

Madeleine. Maddie for short. I'm not keen on nickname style names as official names (personal preference. No offence intended).

TatianaLarina · 22/09/2017 08:46

Sabrina, there 1000s of Maddies.

early30smum · 22/09/2017 09:45

Sabrina

singingpinkmonkey · 22/09/2017 09:52

I love Sabrina. So pretty and reminds me of the old film with Audrey Helpburn (I think). Very classic!

Itsgoodforthegarden · 22/09/2017 09:59

Sabrina reminds me of that pop star from the 80's who went out with Simon Cowell. Sorry.

celticecho · 22/09/2017 10:06

My daughter is called Madeleine and we adore her name!! She loves it too. We call her Maddy as the shortened version.
It's still my all time favourite girls name!

TheDowagerCuntess · 22/09/2017 10:14

I don't love Sabrina, but it's preferable to Maddy. Maddy as a given name is ... not great.

Madeleine..? Wink

Definitely Sabrina

PandorasXbox · 22/09/2017 10:44

Personally I'm not keen on just Maddie. Madeleine is on another level of loveliness imho.

Never liked Sabrina. I do like Marina though.

NameChangeFamousFolk · 22/09/2017 10:44

Sabrina rather than a shortened version of Madeleine (which is a gorgeous name, and would otherwise be my first choice).

NameChangeFamousFolk · 22/09/2017 10:46

OP, is there any reason you don't want to use the full name and just use Maddie as a short version?

I suspect you'll hear 'Oh is that short for Madeleine?' about 20 times a week otherwise!

MammieBear · 22/09/2017 10:52

Sabrina!! Love it

TatianaLarina · 22/09/2017 10:56

Maddie's ok if she ends up as a dancer but a high court judge or prime minister? I agree if you got that route you should call her Madeleine.

TurquoiseChevrotain · 22/09/2017 11:32

Lmao at all the people saying Madeleine, as if the OP wouldn't have already thought of it.

I like Maddie. Sabrina is awful.

@NameChangeFamousFolk - actually, I assume she'll be asked if it's short for Maddison (this spelling is now most popular) as this is the most popular 'Maddie' name.

TatianaLarina · 22/09/2017 12:10

OP specified that Maddie would be the official name hence the Madeleine comments.
