Guys, this name list. thestir.cafemom.com/pregnancy/207174/brand_new_baby_girl_names Can't tell if it's supposed to be serious. I fear it is.

haha I saw this the other day too and my face got increasingly more Hmm as I read through it

FlaviaAlbia · 21/09/2017 12:43

I don't think it means the foot virus in America, it's just a name there so if the site is based there...

euanthesheepiloveyou · 21/09/2017 12:45

They missed a trick. I think 'Pustule' has a similar vibe but nicer ring to it.

Chaffinch4 · 21/09/2017 12:47

Yikes, they're all pretty awful (thatcher???), except for Pippi which is a normal name and randomly thrown in there amongst all the insanity!

user327854831 · 21/09/2017 12:49

Lovely, you could have Veruca Bubonic to really finish it off nicely.

MaroonPencil · 21/09/2017 12:49

Sounds like someone read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and didn't get the joke

Branleuse · 21/09/2017 12:51

not quite the same, but I did see a boat named Candida once.

FreezerBird · 21/09/2017 12:52

Melanin? Linux? Caliber?

The world has gone bananas.

(I quite like Hestia, and Iseult.)

MaroonPencil · 21/09/2017 12:52

How can they have beautiful names like Iseult, which is hardly brand new, with horrors like Melanin. "Ooh hello Mel what's your name short for - Melanie? Melody maybe?" "Nah, it's Melanin, my parents were hipster idiots "

SexandDrugsandaNiceCuppa · 21/09/2017 12:54

I've met several Candida's - it's quite posh apparently!

MaroonPencil · 21/09/2017 12:55

There was a Candida in Pulp.

ItchyFoot · 21/09/2017 12:58

The first one sounds like how my little sister used to pronounce magazine Grin

Dixiestampsagain · 21/09/2017 13:06

I actually know an Anakin, but as did the rest of the suggestions-flipping heck!!!

Dixiestampsagain · 21/09/2017 13:08

I was trying to work out if it was a piss-take too, Elbi but I'm thinking it's not!!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 21/09/2017 13:10

Names that no one else will have. No shit Sherlock. Grin

MumBod · 21/09/2017 13:11
