As the ONS release their baby name lists tomorrow (UK) I would be interested to hear what names you think will have moved significantly/made it into the top 20! My predictions:
Florence and Teddy as biggest climbers.

Sounds silly but hope my two girls names aren't there

SonicBoomBoom · 19/09/2017 21:08

Oscar, oliver, logan and lucas/luca all near the top I think.

squaresandsquares · 20/09/2017 09:07

Are they out?

LesDennishair · 20/09/2017 09:19

Not yet, squares. Should be this month, but they have been known to be delayed.

LesDennishair · 20/09/2017 09:32

I feel a bit too old for this name guessing lark, but will have a try all the same.

Girls first:
Agree with Florence, a rise and/or move into top 20.
Aria, Ivy, Elsie, Penelope, Nancy, Arabella, Clara, Darcie/Darcy/Darcy all risers within top 100.
Betsy, Betty type names, outside top 100 will rise. Very fashionable at the moment.

My daughter is one of 10 born with her name last year :)

Sad that Florence is so high rules it out for another daughter

WhatKatyDidnt · 20/09/2017 09:48

I'm surprised Teddy/Edward haven't climbed more.

I've still never met an Olivia despite knowing scores of children!

LesDennishair · 20/09/2017 09:57

Thanks Peached, I searched and missed that!

Felicity and Luna moved into top 100. No surprise about Luna, I've heard it a lot more recently.

TheVoiceOfTreason · 20/09/2017 10:11

Am I missing something? When I click on that link it says not published yet! Am I being thick? 🤔🙊

motheroreily · 20/09/2017 11:03

Ooo my prediction was right. Albie is there. My daughter's name isn't in the top 100 but I'm not surprised. Not a popular name but I like it

voice are you still getting the error message?

euanthesheepiloveyou · 20/09/2017 11:42

My 6 are still outside the top 100. One of them just about stayed out! Some interesting risers.

Yourshakraishangingout · 20/09/2017 14:21

Not too much change at the top...a lot of our predictions weren't far off. Arlo had a stormer!

PsammeadPaintedTheLion · 20/09/2017 14:29

Dd2 and I are both just about in the top 100 Grin

Dd1 doesn't make top 200.

Dh's name isn't even on the list.

Lemondrop99 · 20/09/2017 14:45

I'm being dim. Where can I find the full list? I can only find the top 100

KanyeWesticle · 20/09/2017 15:16

Is there anywhere you can see the "climb" of certain names.
Eg James is up 3 points to number 12?

I really enjoy these statistics.

Backhometothenorth · 20/09/2017 17:15

There's different tabs- I think the full list is fab 6

yummydonut · 20/09/2017 17:17

gutted Isla is so popular

Pallisers · 20/09/2017 17:26

9 out of the 10 girls' names end in "a". All of the rest end in "e" or "y". All very pretty. Also very similar to most popular US names.

btw I thought this was what would you call a baby after a one night stand. Was a bit surprised.

Jooni · 20/09/2017 17:28

My son's name has shot up! I knew it would Sad but at least I must have good taste Grin DD's has pretty much stayed the same this time but is also rising steadily...

My predictions were Ezra, Arlo and Iris for the Top 100 (yay!) but Felicity, Jesse and Lydia have come as a surprise. I do love Jesse!

Unihorn · 20/09/2017 17:36

My name is now less popular than Khaleesi, bloody hell.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 20/09/2017 17:48

Arlo is up 57 places!!! Crazy!

DiegoMadonna · 20/09/2017 18:08

names.darkgreener.com/ is good for that.

LesDennishair · 20/09/2017 18:27

My name is now less popular than Khaleesi, bloody hell.
And mine! And I expect Khaleesi will rise even higher over the next few years.
Daenerys has fallen slightly though.
