I like both. I'd possibly say Barnaby as you can shorten to Barney.
How ludicrous to say you never meet a professional Barnaby - the Australian deputy pm is one! I also know of lawyers

Op those names are far too nice and sensible. I vote for Peace or Nosh. Or something like Ayedreean, just to be yooneek.

Barnaby is dire. And Barnaby Joyce (Australia's Deputy PM) is a dipshit, and I say that as someone who votes Liberal.

I love both, I know a really lovely lawyer called Barnaby but either works. I may be biased though as a friend has a (gorgeous) Hamish so I don't think I could use it!
