I'd think boy. I'd also think Aubrey Beardsley. Then I'd think Salome and Volpone.

DramaAlpaca · 28/08/2017 18:29

Traditionally it's a boy's name, but these days it seems to be used for girls even though it's wrong So I'd be willing to bet it'll be a girl in your class.

FatBettyintheCoop · 28/08/2017 18:29

Aubrey is a boys name and Audrey is the female version.

semideponent · 28/08/2017 18:30

That would just be my first thought process - as soon as I'd clapped eyes on him/her, all thoughts would be displaced.

FurryDogMother · 28/08/2017 18:31

Boy, because it's a variation of 'Oberon' and means 'king of the fairies'.

TheRollingCrone · 28/08/2017 18:33

Boy

Sophronia · 28/08/2017 18:40

In the U.K, probably a boy but could be either. In America, definitely a girl.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 28/08/2017 18:41

Girl

catlover1987 · 28/08/2017 18:41

MissHavishamsleftdaffodil · 28/08/2017 18:49

I'd think it could be either but I'd be secretly hoping it's a boy, as it's a gorgeous boy's name.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 28/08/2017 18:51

Boy, for sure.

alwaysstressed · 28/08/2017 18:52

hattymattie · 28/08/2017 18:53

Boy.

WildCherryBlossom · 28/08/2017 18:55

(Not helpful in this instance, but our school puts a little dot next to girls names on class lists - very multicultural school and can be difficult to tell)

Mammadragon · 28/08/2017 18:56

It's a boys name so I would think boy prior to introduction.
I've seen a girl 'Aubree' 🙄

Montsti · 28/08/2017 18:57

CountFosco · 28/08/2017 19:02

Obviously it should be boy. Can't be doing with these new fangled 'unisex' names that are actually lovely boys name.

demirose87 · 28/08/2017 19:03

Girl but that's because I know a female baby Aubrey

Yogagirl123 · 28/08/2017 19:05
