I'd think boy. I'd also think Aubrey Beardsley. Then I'd think Salome and Volpone.

Traditionally it's a boy's name, but these days it seems to be used for girls even though it's wrong So I'd be willing to bet it'll be a girl in your class.

Aubrey is a boys name and Audrey is the female version.

That would just be my first thought process - as soon as I'd clapped eyes on him/her, all thoughts would be displaced.

Boy, because it's a variation of 'Oberon' and means 'king of the fairies'.

It's a boys name so I would think boy prior to introduction.
