Are there any pretty names beginning with a v for a girl

It's for a friend

Not Victoria because it's the middle name of her eldest

The only ones we can think of she hates and they're just a bit, erm , not right lol

If she's hates a lot of names beginning with V, why is that what she's looking for? Curious, not to be funny or rude. Is it to fit in with middle name pattern of other daughter or for some other reason? Smile

I love Verity and Vivienne already mentioned. There is also Vida or Vada. Hmmm Velma? Grin

Ha ha at Velma! I'm not quite sure of the reason only that when we started talking about it we were amazed at how few nice names there were being with V! I actually like Viola as I'm a bit of a Shakespeare nut and twelfth night is one of my favourites

Why must the children have the same initials?

For what it is worth both me and my sister have the same initial and last name and it drove us both mad when we lived at home as post would be adressed to Miss J Bloggs and we had no idea who it was for. I opened a number of doctors letters and confidential letters for her over the years by accident.

We still get occasional post through to our childhood home and it is still a problem.
