Emilia, Verity or Ava?

Hi there,

Our baby girl is due tomorrow and we are still undecided on a name for her. We have narrowed it down to Emilia, Verity or Ava. Which one would you name your daughter, popularity aside?

Ava I think.

You could call her all three, Emilia Verity Ava, which go together well in that order and give lots of opportunity for choice later, then use the initials and call her Eva.

I love the name Verity. Lots of Avas and Evas where I live, also many many Emilys/Emilia/Amelias.

All beautiful names, but Verity is definitely a winner for me.

Emilia/Amelia and Eva/Ava are too popular and mistaken for each other which would annoy me.

Verity. Can't stand the Emilia spelling of Amelia (although I do like Amelia) and I know you said popularity aside but Ava is too common for my liking.

I love Ava as well.

Not a fan of Verity. It sounds ferrety to me.

Ava. Lots of Emilias/Amelias around at the moment. Sorry, never liked Verity as a name, reminds me of variety. Also, I know 2 Veritys, one a teenager and one adult, and neither are the nicest of people!

Love Verity!
Prefer Amelia to Emilia.
And I know about a hundred Ava's (most of which are horrid) and its one of the names i always hear mothers screeching in the street.

Not Ava - perfectly nice name, but the country is awash with children called Ava, Eva, Evie, etc.
