Francesca. Beautiful, under used name.

ThursdayLastWeek · 13/08/2017 07:54

Stella. Because it's fab.

And if it gets really popular I wont regret that DS was not a DD and I didn't get to use it Grin

Polly99 · 13/08/2017 07:55

Stella

Rioja123 · 13/08/2017 07:58

Stella

Jooni · 13/08/2017 08:55

Love Frankie! I think I slightly prefer Francesca over Frances but both are nice.

Not too keen on Stella - it sounds a bit metallic to me.

AuntieStella · 13/08/2017 09:04

Frances (or Francesca)

Not Stella (lager)

SuperBeagle · 13/08/2017 09:06

Stella is beautiful.

Frances is frumpy and not particularly feminine.

SarahJonesS · 13/08/2017 09:40

Stella and Francesca are two of my favourite names. As you are planning on Frankie (which I hate) I'd choose Stella

CakeRattleandRoll · 13/08/2017 09:56

I love Francesca.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/08/2017 10:00

Both very lovely names, I'd go for Stella !

Crumbelina · 13/08/2017 10:01

Stella!

Mimiiiiiii · 13/08/2017 10:11

i think i'm starting to prefer Francesca over frances, so maybe the question should be Francesca or Stella !

I don't like Stella as it just reminds me of the beer.

Frances is a bit frumpy/ old ladyish. Francesca is lovely but the possibility of it being shorted to Fran puts me off. I really like Frankie though.

Chaffinch4 · 13/08/2017 11:00

Francesca is too frilly for me. Frances and Stella are both lovely.

eirrar · 13/08/2017 11:08

Love Francesca. Also like Frances.
Stella's okay, not my favourite, although I do quite like Estella for some reason.

Glumglowworm · 13/08/2017 11:32

I like Stella although I prefer Estella (but not Estelle for some reason)

I like Frankie short for Francesca but not keen on Fran or Frances

n0ne · 13/08/2017 14:02

I love Frances. Timeless, classy, beautiful, without being fussy. I like Francesca a lot but it's fussier.

Stella is a great name too - very cool.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/08/2017 14:04

Stella

Because I dislike Frankie, and Fran.

justcanthide · 13/08/2017 14:05

Frances or Fran is old-fashioned (know several Frans in their 50s.) I love Francesca. Stella ok.

PearlyPinkNails · 13/08/2017 14:12

I had them on my list and DH said France's what? Nice? Hot? Horrible?

And Stella he wouldn't name our baby after a beer.

So I would go for Francesca.

rosareine · 13/08/2017 14:12

Not keen on Frances.
Stella is ok but Estella is nicer imo.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/08/2017 15:51

Francesca though not so keen on Frankie

Frances seems so serious on a girl though I like Francis for a boy

I want to like Stella but it just makes me think of Stella Artois

Coey2016 · 13/08/2017 18:18

I love Stella. I like Francesca but am not keen on Fran so would personally not use in case of people using that shortening

Sophronia · 14/08/2017 00:51

Frances. Not keen on Francesca unless you're Italian.

DramaAlpaca · 14/08/2017 00:54

I much prefer Stella.
