I know 0 of both

Angus, because it's a bit more interesting while still being a well known name

IStoleThisUsername · 31/07/2017 13:13

I know none of either. I prefer Archie, as Angus makes me think of hamburgers.

Helspopje · 31/07/2017 13:14

Angus is bloody awful
Aberdeen Angus cattle

DramaAlpaca · 31/07/2017 13:14

I prefer Angus and I don't know any of either.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 31/07/2017 13:23

Prefer Angus, but dislike Gus.
How about Adam.

frid · 31/07/2017 13:27

Or Fergus

Elmo230885 · 31/07/2017 13:52

Know of loads of Archies
Angus makes me think of cows

Sophronia · 31/07/2017 13:58

I prefer Angus

Sophronia · 31/07/2017 13:58

Oh and I don't know anyone called Angus. I know one Archie aged 27.

MikeUniformMike · 31/07/2017 14:03

I know an Angus. Great name. Only one problem with it - the spellchecker won't pick up if you make a typo.

BikeRunSki · 31/07/2017 14:05

Angus is much nicer!!! I know one, he'd about 50.

I know, or know of, eleventy thousand Archies from ages5-10, and one who is about 65.

ApocalypseNowt · 31/07/2017 14:06

There are loads of little Archies near me. LOADS of them.

Quite like Angus. Different without being too 'out there'.

Oddlookingeyes · 31/07/2017 14:13

I know a 9 year old Angus...he is awesome Smile.

Jooni · 31/07/2017 15:33

I know an absolute ton of little Archies!

Much prefer Angus.

Mclaren37 · 31/07/2017 17:44

Love Angus! Best boys name. I would have had it for our DS but DH strongly vetoed. (We have an Archie - I am campaigning for Hamish this time roundGrin).

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 31/07/2017 17:48

Angus

PeterReidFaePeterheid · 31/07/2017 20:44

I k is a couple of each,way prefer Angus.

Mrsknackered · 31/07/2017 21:36

Angus, great name.

I have a cousin who's a tit called Archie.

sleepyhead · 31/07/2017 21:53

Loads of Archies aged about 10 and younger (half of them seem to have sisters called Evie).

A couple of Anguses which would be my preference, but they're both nice sounding names.

Starlighter · 31/07/2017 22:25

Angus makes me think of beef! Hmm there are a lot of Archies around though...

LanaDelRana · 31/07/2017 22:26

I think Archie is a bit of an unimaginative name, its 'nice' but a little bit boring and overdone imo.

Quite like Angus

Lillygreen · 31/07/2017 22:28

My dog is called Archie

TheUpsideDown · 31/07/2017 22:30

Neither

An awful lot of Archies around at the moment. Very over-used where I live.

I find Angus sounds 'fuddy-duddy'

NC4now · 31/07/2017 22:33

I know loads of Archies. My friend had an Archie when I had DS1 back in 2002. It was unusual back then but I've known loads since.
Just totted up - I know 5.
Angus is nicer. I only know one, in his 40s.
Does it have to be an A name? I really like Hamish.

Marcipex · 31/07/2017 22:35

Archie is nice, Fergus is lovely.

Angus is awful, sorry, and easily changed to Anus by other ( non- friend) kids.
