Milo & Arlo

Hi! I have a son called Milo and due another boy in November. I absolutely love the name Arlo and feel this is the name for my baby, however I am aware it's quite similar to Milo. What's your opinion?!?!? I know in my heart I would be so upset if i didnt use this name, but just want others opinions! Thanks Smile

We like quite traditional middle names (george and thomas ) just as I prefer first names to be a bit different, so don't think I would use arlo as a middle name xx

It's not my cup of tea but neither is Milo. If you really like the name and want to use it then go ahead! It isn't the same name and I don't think it sounds silly with Milo.

I think they sound lovely op. Have you thought about Theo? Or Archie? I still think Milo and Arlo are lovely names!

Too similar, plus Arlo is a very "now" name. I can't imagine shouting out "Milo! Arlo!" in a supermarket Im afraid... what other options do you have?

Whiskyinbru we did consider Theo as also really love that, but it's my brothers name so hear it all the time, so wanted to try something different xx

We only have one other name (apart from theo) which is Finn, i like it but don't LOVE it!! Want something a bit different, similar to Milo so something you don't hear all the time. Any ideas?!?!

Thanks so much everyone, for all the people that have said they like the names I feel much more reassured ☺☺☺ the others that aren't keen has left me trying to think of another name that u like just as much (which I'm finding very hard lol) xxxx

It's a lovely name, but think about when they are older and you are shouting up the stairs for one if them... they sound very similar and I think it would be confusing. I say this as someone who has a sibling with a similar sounding name and it drove me nuts!
