Mila, for a girl.

What image does the name conjure? (Aside from the actress) Like a girlie girl, tomboy etc

Kunis?? I like it though, very pretty

MineKraftCheese · 12/07/2017 20:19

I love it. Feels strong but beautiful. A little exotic but easyish to spell/say etc.

OnNaturesCourse · 12/07/2017 20:23

Yeah. Love the name. Not sure of the connection to the actress.

The name conjures up a image of a strong women with a fierce loving side to me.

Is it pronounced Meela or Mile-a?

(And do you, find that Q annoying as I won't be the last to ask it.)

OnNaturesCourse · 12/07/2017 20:25

Mee-Lah

Mela I guess would be another way to spell it...

Thesingingtoad · 12/07/2017 20:25

Isn't it short for Milena.

OnNaturesCourse · 12/07/2017 20:26

It can be used as a nn for it, yes, but is also a stand alone name. X

I read that as milia (annoying skin lumps)
Sorry

BewareOfDragons · 12/07/2017 20:29

I know a Milana, a truly lovely girl. Very pretty name, too.

DartmoorDoughnut · 12/07/2017 20:30

Love it

justdontevenfuckingstart · 12/07/2017 20:31

Very lovely name.

OnNaturesCourse · 12/07/2017 20:33

@BewareOfDragons

Is that said Me-Lana or Mil-anna?

OP posts:
Mulch · 12/07/2017 20:35

Love it so refreshing from the Olivias, gracy-may, Lillies, arabellas ect

MrsJoyOdell · 12/07/2017 20:37

Mila is a beautiful name, I love it!

BewareOfDragons · 12/07/2017 20:37

Me-Lana

Muh, sound, not me as in myself.

ilivebythesea · 12/07/2017 20:55

There was a programme on TV a few years ago about junior doctors and one of the girls was Mila, I think, so to me it conjures up a smart, caring person, maybe?

I love the name, and this was the first time I'd heard it (on the TV), so I added it to my favs, although didn't use it in the end!

OnNaturesCourse · 12/07/2017 21:28

It's definitely in the running.

Along with Talia, Kara, and Lara.

It's so hard to pick girls names!

I love it.

I wouldn't use a longer version as the longer versions are too similar to Melania Trump.

grufallosfriend · 12/07/2017 22:34

I'd say Myla for Mila.

Like Milo.

Sophronia · 12/07/2017 23:36

I'd assume the parents had named her after Mila Kunis.

indigox · 12/07/2017 23:37

So overused here.

FluffyMcCloud · 13/07/2017 06:23

I like it but personally I would get frustrated with it being mispronounced all the time. She will get Mile-a a lot...

2gorgeousboys · 13/07/2017 06:49

I know a two year old Myla, I wasn't sure about her name at first but love it now and it really suits her.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/07/2017 08:25

I much prefer Talia.

Ivory200 · 13/07/2017 11:15

The other spelling ( Myla ) is the name of a well known brand of lingerie Blush
