What do you think of when you hear the name Sam for a boy?

It's lovely. Just nice and simple.

I always picture a blonde child, although all the Sam's I know have brown hair weirdly!

I think it's a lovely name. I only know one little Sam, he's such a nice boy.

My youngest grandson is Sam (Samuel but shortened) so I am biased

He does have Samuel on his birth certificate but in 28 years it's only teachers and doctors that have ever called him that

I've also been pleasantly surprised that there aren't that many about. Mine is the only Sam in his year group at school.

I find it a wee bit boring, but I know a wonderful Sam so I like it more because of that.
