Idris! Brilliant.

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 28/06/2017 16:36

I really like Elijah but Idris is more unusual and also nice.

Amee1992x · 28/06/2017 16:37

Elijah

MineKraftCheese · 28/06/2017 16:46

Love Idris. Not common at all but easy to pronounce. No bad connotations for me. Just the lovely Mr Elba Blush

RiverTam · 28/06/2017 16:49

Both lovely. Idris, probably.

MysweetAudrina · 28/06/2017 16:51

I have an Elijah he is 8 and a nut job

terrylene · 28/06/2017 16:55

Mr Elba is lovely Smile

Also, the little red dragon that lives in Ivor the Engine's furnace Blush

Whatsthekey · 28/06/2017 17:06

Seems like Idris is the clear winner. We're going to sleep on it and decide in the morning. Thank you for your input everyone.

OP,

Charismatic and charming Idris Elba, plus name meanings of, and connections to, magician/ learning/ writing and a famous mountain...

What's not to love? Smile
(Zach and Idris go really nicely together, as well).

Jooni · 28/06/2017 19:28

Idris!

MikeUniformMike · 28/06/2017 19:50

Idris. Elijah is a name that is super cute for a baby but I just don't see it as a grown man's name. Would it become Eli or 'Lijah?
I'll add Moroccan kings and ginger beer to the list of Idris connections.

FizzyGreenWater · 28/06/2017 20:02

Idris!

I think the shortening Eli is a really whiny sound.

n0ne · 28/06/2017 20:34

Love Ideis!

SuperBeagle · 28/06/2017 21:42

Idris.

I really don't like Elijah at all. I don't like the "zh" sound and I hate the shortening "Eli". Do like Ellis and Elliot a lot though, which are quite similar.

Avocadosmoothie · 28/06/2017 22:25
