Quite like both. David is just a more pleasant sound though, so I'd go with that.

Dexter is great!

David is one of the most boring names I can imagine. Like the kind of name you give somebody as default when you can't make up your mind yet.

My fb is David.
He is 70.
Just no.
And Dexter is the monkey in Night in the Museum!!
Daniel tho not my taste is moderately better.
