Sorry, couldn't resist. Both nice names, not keen on Teddy, but he'll grow into out of it as long as you've left him the option by having a less cutesy name on certificate.

@Floggingmolly - it will be Teddy. Teddy is the name we like, but we want a longer form and prefer it to Ed names.

I think both are Lovely, Billy's more unusual if that helps but as I say you can't go wrong with either good choice.

I have a Teddy and that's what he is on his BC too. It suits him (he's almost 11 now) and he goes by either Teddy or Ted.

Definitely Billy for me. Teddy is not to my taste at all.

Teddy, when he's older he might choose Theo, which I think is a great name.

I like Will and Theo but less so Billy and Teddy which makes it a hard choice.

Both long names are fab but don't really like Billy.

William, classic, cute, and Billy's fab, but he has lots of nn options if he'd rather be Bill, Will, or Liam.
