Sorry don't really like the combination.
Love Grace though

Haffdonga · 25/05/2017 21:35

Gracie Casey . Bit too rhymey, sorry.

WhatToDoAboutThis2017 · 25/05/2017 21:35

Casey Grace rolls better off the tongue.

Haffdonga · 25/05/2017 21:36

Oh, I'd assumed Casey was the surname.

muffinwaggon · 25/05/2017 21:36

No

Wolfiefan · 25/05/2017 21:37

Difficult to say. And very similar names in sound. Also names don't really go well together. Grace is a bit of a classic. Casey isn't the same sort of name IYSWIM.

Hooleywhipper · 25/05/2017 21:38

Casey Grace sounds better,I like both names .

ComfyyySofttt · 25/05/2017 21:39

@Wolfiefan unfortunately Casey is my surname! We are using DP's surname as her surname and mine as middle name... If it's too awful, we will have to change her first name Sad

Is Casey the surname?

ComfyyySofttt · 25/05/2017 21:41

Casey is the middle name which is my surname Grin

I prefer Casey Grace rolls off the tongue better

HipsterRaccoon · 25/05/2017 21:41

If it's grace casey something that's not so bad.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/05/2017 21:41

Oh no I don't like it. Both end in the same sound and has the same amount of letter. Makes for a very harsh sounding name.

Wolfiefan · 25/05/2017 21:41

FFS. I'm so sorry. I completely misunderstood. It's a great surname. Would actually have put in my post it's a boy's name or a surname but felt rude! Grin
Could you use a different one of your names or a similar name to Casey (Cassie)?

Run4Fun · 25/05/2017 21:41

Sorry Cross post. Could you double barrel the surname?

Popskipiekin · 25/05/2017 21:42

Oh so it's Grace Casey Smith. Sounds fine to me. And if it is Smith then Casey-Smith is an awesome double barrelled surname! Grin

Theworldisfullofidiots · 25/05/2017 21:42

Reminds me of greasy, sorry.

SuperBeagle · 25/05/2017 21:42

It doesn't work, IMO.

Grace Case. The y on the end does nothing to take away from the rhyme.

Blossomdeary · 25/05/2017 21:42

You could change your/his surname! - Grace is a really nice name, but it does sound a bit weird with Casey - sorry!

OlennasWimple · 25/05/2017 21:43

Depends on the last name

If it's something with some harder sounds, it would work:

Grace Casey Taylor

Grace Casey Scott

Grace Casey Burton

It wouldn't work with more soft sounds:

Grace Casey Smith

Grace Casey Firth

Grace Casey Spacey Grin

SallyGinnamon · 25/05/2017 21:43

Bit of a tongue twister. Unless you consider in RL she'll be called Grace Surname and her middle name will be ignored most of the time.

OlennasWimple · 25/05/2017 21:43

Or you could use an additional middle name:

Grace Something Casey Surname would be fine

Popskipiekin · 25/05/2017 21:44

Fabulous cross post there with Olennas...

KingPrawnOkay · 25/05/2017 21:45

I think it's fine! Not a fan of the name Grace tbh but I think it rolls off the tongue fine.

DomJolyNurse · 25/05/2017 21:47

It is a bit hard to say, but truely I extremely rarely say my children's middle names after their first name.
They are only known by their first name in school and by all family. I bet teachers, friends and vast majority of my family dont remember their middle names. Even if they did there would be no circumstances where they would say the full name that I can think of.

That said, if it bothers you, and you love the name Grace, can you have 2 middle names?
