I prefer Jemma - can't quite imagine Maisie for an adult (Though I'm sure there are many!)

squoosh · 04/05/2017 01:46

Jemma.

Definitely.

KoalaDownUnder · 04/05/2017 01:54

Jemma.

Maisie is twee. I can't imagine introducing myself as 'Maisie' as an adult.

Kathryn160417 · 04/05/2017 02:06

Definitely Maisie, but I'm biased as it's my girls middle name and was my nannas name!

mum2be2boys · 04/05/2017 04:08

Definitely Jemma.
It sounds like a strong name, whereas Maisie is a very cute and girly.

Plunkette · 04/05/2017 04:25

Jemma

Dontrocktheboat · 04/05/2017 07:20

Not keen on either but Maisie if pressed. There are loads of cutesy names in this generation so don't think it's an issue. Jemma is very eighties!

Heathcliffitsme · 04/05/2017 07:25

Yes Jemma very 80s and I know loads and loads. I only know one Maisie age 12 and think it's lovely.

KoalaDownUnder · 04/05/2017 07:27

Agree that Jemma is very 80s. I don't much like it myself, for that reason.

But Maisie is just so cutesy.

Lemondrop09 · 04/05/2017 08:17

Jemma. I think it's pretty and can suit all ages

Maisie is cute but something a child will outgrow by the time they've finished school

pipilangstrumpf · 04/05/2017 08:24

Definitely Jemma!

Maisie is a cutesy comical mouse name imo.

Mrsknackered · 04/05/2017 08:30

I like Maisy with a Y. Not sure why but prefer Y spellings over 'ie'
I've never met a Jemma younger than me and that puts me off. Love Emma though.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/05/2017 09:28

Jemma.

SuperBeagle · 04/05/2017 10:01

Maisie.

Jemma is outdated, IMO.

Lemonnaise · 04/05/2017 10:21

I prefer Jemma

Justmadeperfectflapjacks · 04/05/2017 10:26

Maisie. .
Can nn May if Maisie too young later on. .
Though I would still like Maisie!!

Krimbler · 04/05/2017 10:38

Jemma.

I would hate, hate, hate to be an adult called Maisie.

CricketFishieDHAndMe · 04/05/2017 11:02

Jemma is really nice. Classic and already somewhat retro again.

Maisie is too cutesy and trendy imo.

I personally prefer Gemma, but Jemma is also really nice.

Loyly · 04/05/2017 11:05

Jemma (although I prefer it spelt Gemma)

halcyondays · 04/05/2017 11:08

Jemma, but I would probably spell it Gemma.
I can know here Maisy, Maisy mouse in my head.

Sophronia · 04/05/2017 13:42

Jemma

YogaAndRum · 04/05/2017 13:45

Jemma

Rockaby · 04/05/2017 21:41

I prefer Maisie, though neither are really my cup of tea if I'm honest. There's nothing wrong with them, they just aren't to my taste.

How about Jemima with nn Jemma?

DramaAlpaca · 04/05/2017 21:42

Jemma by a long way.

Maisie is just too cutesy & little girly.

MarzipanPiggy · 04/05/2017 21:47

I don't mind Jemma actually in spite of it being a bit 80s, prefer it to Gemma (and to Maisie). How about Jenna?

Or agree Jemima is nice.
