Hiya, our son was born on the 23rd.

Do you prefer Henri or Louis? :)

Thank you.

Louis every time!

Are you French? Just wondering otherwise why you'd choose a French Henry.

Yika · 25/04/2017 20:16

Louis by miles

Sostenueto · 25/04/2017 20:17

Fitzwilliam Darcy. Because I love Pride and Prejudice.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/04/2017 20:24

Louis.

sexymuthafunker · 25/04/2017 20:25

Louis.

Alexandra87 · 25/04/2017 20:25

Louis

LovelyBaubles · 25/04/2017 20:26

Louis (I'm biased as I have one)

It's a really cool name. It's both classic and modern.

Jooni · 25/04/2017 21:46

I love Louis! It feels really soft and sensitive but in a sturdy, masculine way. Pretty timeless too.

I like Henri too but it's very French (are you French?) Henry is a nice solid classic.

Rockaby · 25/04/2017 21:49

Congratulations!

I actually prefer Henri, though I wonder if might get mispronounced if you are in the U.K. though? Louis is nice too and easier to pronounce maybe. I know of a few little boys named Louis.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/04/2017 21:52

Louis. Really dislike Henry.
Congratulations. Flowers

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 25/04/2017 22:02

Louis

MissWimpyDimple · 25/04/2017 22:04

I would assume a Henri was a girl.

Louis much better

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 25/04/2017 22:45

Henri. But Louis is also nice.

pipilangstrumpf · 26/04/2017 07:00

Louis much more likely to get mispronounced as Lou-EE (French) or Lou-is (uk/American/German etc),

Henri I'd always pronounce the French way.

TheDinnerWitch · 26/04/2017 07:03

Yes I'd be worried that some people would pronounce Henri the same way as Henry.

Susiethetortoiseshellcat · 26/04/2017 07:49

How are you pronouncing Henri? I really like Henry but Henri (French way with silent H) sounds a little pretentious if no links to France.

Rockaby · 26/04/2017 10:33

I assumed the French way (silent H, sort of like aw-n-REE I think, though my French is rusty)!

Foureyesarebetterthantwo · 26/04/2017 10:36

I like both!

VerySadInside · 26/04/2017 10:39

Henri if you are French, Louis if you are English but yes some people will say Lewis.

GraceBlish · 28/04/2017 10:43

Louis was my top name if we had a boy, but would spell it Louie instead (so people don't pronounce in Lewis) :)

BillyButtfuck · 28/04/2017 10:52

I love Louis, I prefer Henry to Henri.
