Thanks.

Thanks, it is funny most like Flora so far.

I obviously like all of them but if I am really pushed it is my least favourite but DH's favourite.

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 24/04/2017 19:22

Flora is darling.
Lucinda second-
not as crazy about Bridget...

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 24/04/2017 19:23

Although just saw it is your least fav-you need to love your DDs name!!!

OP-which is your fav??

Piratesandpants · 24/04/2017 19:25

Lucinda!

Enidblyton1 · 24/04/2017 19:25

I love the name Bridget - both of the ones I know (one is 30s, the other in her 60s) are known as Biddy and it really suits them. A cosy, unthreatening name.
Flora and Lucinda lovely choices too though
Sorry not at all helpful - I couldn't chose between them!

Justmadeperfectflapjacks · 24/04/2017 19:26

Prefer Florence with nn Florrie. .

Joinourclub · 24/04/2017 19:33

Lucinda. I do love how Flora sounds but I just think of margarine.

Florianne?

AmyOnTheBorder · 24/04/2017 19:33

I have name regret over our choice for DD1 so I am nervous of getting it wrong this time.

I have liked Lucinda since I was a teenager and dreaming up future children's names so it is a safe choice and one I don't think I will ever go off.

On the other hand I often wish I had called DD1 Bridget. It is more of a name I have liked in the last few years but I think I like it most currently.

Flora is a name I also think is lovely and DH likes most but I think for me it might be a passing fad that I will go off. DD has a flower name and I don't love the flower theme either.

I quite like them all, though I would use Bridie as a shortening for Bridget. Flora sounds very sweet and Lucinda / Lucie is also nice not very helpful

Jooni · 24/04/2017 19:41

I think Bridget is fab! The others are very "pretty" choices, whereas Bridget feels feisty and very chic to me.

I actually really like Flora but wouldn't use it with another floral name unless I was trying to create a theme. Lucinda is a bit too frilly for me but I do like Lucille and feel it has a similar vibe to Bridget - might you like that? Or Beatrice?

Sophronia · 24/04/2017 19:41

Flora, but all 3 are nice!

Babyk12 · 24/04/2017 19:44

Lucinda. Flora reminds me of the margarine if I'm being honest. Bridget is a nice name. Def one to grow into I think

GirlcalledJames · 24/04/2017 20:02

Florr

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 24/04/2017 20:05

Lucinda.
