It's definitely going to be one of these, so please no "neither" as that's just unhelpful.

Thanks!

My first thought was Reid as I find Reed from The Fresh Beat Band pleasing to look at but I also like Grey! My cousin's son is called Greyson. Sorry, no help at all am I as I'd say either.

HappyLollipop · 22/04/2017 17:06

I like Reid better

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 22/04/2017 17:08

Reid.

Loyly · 22/04/2017 17:09

Grey

DramaAlpaca · 22/04/2017 17:10

Reid

CancellyMcChequeface · 22/04/2017 17:11

Reid.

ScarletSienna · 22/04/2017 17:23

I think 50 Shades of Grey is making me think Reid is nicer but otherwise I'd have said Grey.

MakeItStopNeville · 22/04/2017 17:25

I love the name Reid but every Reid I know (3 but live in the US) is spelled Reed.

MelbourneClown03 · 22/04/2017 17:27

Grey. I think it's a lovely name.

BounceBounceSplishSplash · 22/04/2017 17:57

Gray. Short for Grayson. But if I'm choosing between Grey or Reid then Grey.

Floggingmolly · 22/04/2017 17:58

They're both surnames...

apotheke · 22/04/2017 18:02

Of the two, Reid.

But really, I mean really? Well obviously from your OP you don't want to hear opinions on the fact they are both pretty dreadful as first names. So I guess the best we can do is hope you don't use Grey.

Mumzypopz · 22/04/2017 21:19

Would you really call a child Grey? I think it's terrible, such a boring colour too. He is so going to be picked on.

Racheyg · 22/04/2017 21:31

I love grey. I would spell it gray

bojorojo · 22/04/2017 22:22

Grayson, Greyson, or Reedman. My grandad was Wiiliam Reedman. Definitely not shorter versions. I can see other children bullying Fifty Shades!

AssassinatedBeauty · 22/04/2017 22:25

Reid.

Hoolit · 22/04/2017 22:34

Reid, it was a one of my choices 17 yrs ago and I still like it.

Sophronia · 22/04/2017 22:45

Reid. Love it.

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/04/2017 22:50

I feel grey.

It's a grey day.

Everything is grey.

Really? It's a nice sounding word, and Grayson or Graham shortened is fine, but Grey?

GuinessPunch · 22/04/2017 22:51

Love grey/grayson

spacefrog35 · 22/04/2017 22:56

Are you a massive Criminal Minds fan?

DramaAlpaca · 22/04/2017 23:01

Haha spacefrog I was wondering that too!

Dontrocktheboat · 22/04/2017 23:06

Reid if it has to be one of the two.
I think the fifty shades thing would be an issue with Grey.

reuset · 22/04/2017 23:19

Grey reminds me of beige (shouldn't give people ideas there Grin). Reid is slightly more preferable. Though it reminds me of an Estate Agent business name, and what if he/she is slim (reed).

Actually, no, Grey is better. They can pretend it is Ray.

smashyourglasses · 22/04/2017 23:21

Sleep on it.
