Deliberately trying to find a 'cool' name is one of the un-coolest things you can do, IMO. Just choose a name you like!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/04/2017 10:45

Winter
Storm
Lark
Rain
Flame

hideehigh · 04/04/2017 11:05

Came on to say Storm. I know a woman with the middle name Lightening- she loves it! And is very cool Grin

Lemondrop09 · 04/04/2017 11:15

I know someone who has Winter Rose as her middle names. I think that's pretty cool. I also like Wren.

My DH's middle name is Hunter, he is from quite a smart family.

Sierra259 · 04/04/2017 11:26

I know someone with Thor as their middle name.

WankersHacksandThieves · 04/04/2017 11:32

If you aren't wanting to honour family and are just going for middle name you like then I'd just choose something you like.

You could choose something like a mountain (Nevis, Everest etc.) or somewhere you went on holiday that you loved (Florida, Devon etc.)
After a musician (Marley, Lennon etc.)
A film star (Bacall, Bogart etc.)
A car (Bentley, Jaguar etc.)
AN animal, historical figure, inventor etc etc.

WingMirrorSpider · 04/04/2017 11:35

I like classic names, but harbour a secret love for the middle name Tiger for either sex 🐯

smilingsarahb · 04/04/2017 11:43

I think they work if there is a reason...otherwise its a bit try hard. So perhaps look at the weather conditions or other circumstances around the actual birth and take it from there. Thinking blaze or scirocco in the summer or blizzard or tornado etc.

Dixiestamp · 04/04/2017 23:49

I taught someone whose middle name was Fuchsia and I loved that (always have trouble spelling it, though!)

user1471552178 · 04/04/2017 23:52

Sparkle

SuperBeagle · 05/04/2017 00:50

Mine have more unusual middle names (with the exception of one). Two of them are named after the lead singers of my and DH's favourite bands; one is named after a blues song; and one is named after a character in a Hunter S. Thompson book.
