Cleo?

opinions on this name? does it make you think of cleopatra because wouldn't REALLY want that. or does it sound too "made up"?

I suppose it does make me think of Cleopatra, but in a good way. Doesn't sound made up, anyway.

I think of clepoatra or cleo mcqueen from hollyoaks. My dad's dog is also called cleo and I know 3 other dogs named it. Pretty name though! X

It doesn't sound 'made up' at all - because it isn't. Yes, it inevitably makes people think of Cleopatra (but is that a bad thing? Powerful and beautiful woman) - but apart from that, made me think of Cleo Laine (maybe that shows my age though)

Love Cleo! Makes me think of Amanda Barrie in Carry On Cleo, rather then Cleopatra herself. I've known a few though, and never thought of anyone other than the person themselves. And definitely not made up.

It was on our shortlist for dd1. She really suits the name we picked but she definitely would have made an awesome little Cleo. Go for it!

Cleo is too much of a car name for me.

That's Clio. Which would otherwise be a nice alternative - the Greek muse of history.
