Hi guys
I'd like some opinions on the name Cadby for a little boy.
I have an Alfie and Bobby already and wanted something that would flow with the 2 names but something a little more unusual.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Sorry.
It's a no from me. .

Redyellowpinkblue · 29/03/2017 20:58

I'm afraid I just see/hear Cadbury Confused

Sirzy · 29/03/2017 20:58

Jungfraujoch · 29/03/2017 20:58

Makes me think of Cadbury - sorry!

Dragongirl10 · 29/03/2017 20:58

sorry but l immediately though Cadbury as in chocolate....

NashvilleQueen · 29/03/2017 20:58

I'm sorry OP but to me it sounds like a toddler trying to say Cadbury. Is it a real name??

shirleycartersaidso · 29/03/2017 20:58

Looks and sounds like a misspelling of Cadbury.

Beryl19 · 29/03/2017 20:59

Thanks for your honesty, this is what I'm looking for really. I've gone through so many names in my head, I'm not sure what sounds normal or a bit weird anymore 😂

Are you set on a C name for the ABC theme?

Beryl19 · 29/03/2017 21:04

I'm not sure wether it is actually a real name, apparently it is, i know it's a surname as it was my partners grandads surname and hes recently passed away. So i think he likes it more for that reason.
No it doesn't have to be a c name really. Xx

I also see chocolate. Would Cody work?

AmyC86 · 29/03/2017 21:07

What about Cody?

smashyourglasses · 29/03/2017 21:09

Did you make it up?

YogaAndRum · 29/03/2017 21:12

What about Gatsby?

Garnethair · 29/03/2017 21:13

It sounds a bit Flaky

thebakerwithboobs · 29/03/2017 21:14

The family connection is sweet but it should be demoted to middle name. I feel your pain OP-all our sons have two middle names so by the time we were naming number six, the name Six was genuinely on the list for far longer than it should have been!

WanderingTrolley1 · 29/03/2017 21:14

Absolutely not, not even under duress.

SuperBeagle · 29/03/2017 21:14

Cadbury, definitely. Which wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't fucked with their chocolate to the point it now tastes like ass. Grin

Do you like Camden? Cody could work too.

Beryl19 · 29/03/2017 21:21

My partner actually loves gatsby but our surname begins with g.
We have a family friend with a dog called Cody so that's a no too.
xx

Those aren't reasons that should stop you!

Beryl19 · 29/03/2017 21:27

I think if I genuinely loved the name then nothing would stop me but I onky like them not completely love them xx

ErrolTheDragon · 29/03/2017 21:29

Cary? (As in Cary Grant).

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 29/03/2017 21:29

Gatsby is cool !
How about ;
Alfie, Bobby and Cole
Alfie, Bobby and Jett
Alfie, Bobby and koby

ILoveDolly · 29/03/2017 21:37

Why not have Cadby as a middle name?

EssentialHummus · 29/03/2017 21:39

What everyone else said! Cole?
