It's nothing like Chardonnay, etc. and doesn't sound like Michael with an a on the end, so don't know why it matters that it looks like that.

I love it! Had a lovely friend at primary school with this name. Also makes me think of Michaela Strachan, so for me, it's 80s tastic and overdue a revival.

It's not my favourite but I don't mind it.
