I find it very naff.

It's a pretty name. A friend has a Michaela, she's known as Micky. Very sweet.

Only people I know with this name live or grew up on council estates.... sorry a no from me

Feels 80s to me, in the same vein as people being called Bryony, Carly, Roberta etc. Seems to be out of favour at the moment- depends whether you mind that?

Michaela was very popular here in Australia in the 1980s and 1990s. But it was most often spelt Mikayla or Makayla etc.

Just a bit outdated, IMO, and liable to being misspelt often.

I like it, but then the person I know named it is a world renowned researcher so good connotations for me. Travels well across other languages from what I know too. Although some countries spell it Mihaela but pronounce it the same as Michaela.

It's ok. Definitely prefer the Michaela spelling though.

I'm not keen, sorry. For me it's not a very attractive word to say or written down. Not saying girls' names have to be frilly, by any means, I love strong names, just not this one.

It's ok but starting to sound outdated now. Plus the Michaela I know gets called Micky for short which sounds naff.
