Hi, baby girl is 9 days old and still no name! This is our sort of shortlist...although we keep adding/removing from it Confused
Could people say which they prefer? We are Irish BTW and I would probably prefer to have an Irish name but DH not bothered about that. Thank you!

Isobel /Isabel (i think Izzy is cute for short)
Jessica (Jess)
Róisín
Róise
Aoibheann (pronounced eve een)
Elizabeth (I love Beth for short)
Niamh
Fionnoula
Aoife
Alice

Beth for me I think.
Lovely list though.

MiniAlphaBravo · 14/03/2017 08:21

Faves are Elizabeth and Roisin. Could have Roisin as a middle name?

MollyHuaCha · 14/03/2017 08:26

I also really like Róisín Elizabeth. that's beautiful :)

missmayup · 14/03/2017 11:17

I loooove Aoife! My favourite girls name was Hester but my other half thought I was mental so we agreed on Ruby 😁

PunkAssMoFo · 14/03/2017 12:13

Róisín is beautiful.

wigglesrock · 14/03/2017 12:28

From your list I really like Isobel, Elizabeth and I love Jess but not Jessica, I'm not sure why but I'm not fussed on the ica sound. Roisin and Niamh I find dated but that's just because of where I live and kids I grew up with. Roise - I know 2 primary school aged ones - I just find it a bit dull, I find Rose dull too, I think it's just noun names I'm not fussed on. Aoife is a lovely name but it's really popular where I am, tripping over them Grin. Congratulations Thanks Brew

paddypants13 · 14/03/2017 12:33

Another vote for Elizabeth or Roisin. Both beautiful names.

Congratulations op! Flowers

BaymaxismyHero · 14/03/2017 14:51

heateallthebuns · 14/03/2017 15:04

I've only boys, but I wanted Nell short for Elinor if I'd had a girl. Sob.

heateallthebuns · 14/03/2017 15:05

Roisin Elizabeth is lovely!
