Two very different names.... Edward gets my vote.

TimeLoop · 10/03/2017 18:04

Are they? In what way? :)

I have a Dylan so I'm obviously going to say that! More options for nicknames with Edward though if that's important to you.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 10/03/2017 18:11

Definitely Dylan, I have one too. 😄

Sandsnake · 10/03/2017 18:12

I prefer Edward. Congrats!

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 10/03/2017 18:13

I think they're really different too.

Dylan for me.

RuthB4 · 10/03/2017 18:13

Gosh that's a tough one! Both are lovely names! I'm going to say Dylan because i have a gorgeous nephew called Dylan. But I do love all the nickname options for Edward!

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 10/03/2017 18:14

Out of the 2 I would say Dylan but I also love the nn Ned for Edward.

n0ne · 10/03/2017 18:22

I agree that they're really different. If you have any Welsh connections, I'd choose Dylan. If not, Edward.

OneSecondAfter · 10/03/2017 18:24

Dylan.

Patriciathestripper1 · 10/03/2017 18:25

Dylan Edward John surname sounds great

wobblywonderwoman · 10/03/2017 18:26

Very different names. I would go for Edward

Imaginingdragonsagain · 10/03/2017 18:27

I like both! Would go with Edward though

TheTartOfAsgard · 10/03/2017 18:28

I love them both, they're both on my list. But, in your case I'd choose Dylan, purely for the fact that 'JEDWARD' are John and Edward.

apotheke · 10/03/2017 18:48

Edward, by a mile. Really contrasting choices which is unusual on here.

Rockaby · 10/03/2017 18:51

Edward is one of my all time favourite boy names, so I'd definitely go for that.

I'm not mad about Dylan.

MollyHuaCha · 10/03/2017 18:53

Edward - classic, sophisticated and timeless.

MrsBungle · 10/03/2017 18:54

Dylan for me.

Jooni · 10/03/2017 20:01

Definitely Edward.

BaymaxismyHero · 10/03/2017 20:16

Both are nice. But really like nn Eddie

Roseandbee · 10/03/2017 20:57

Dylan is a fave name for me

CheckpointCharlie2 · 10/03/2017 20:58

Dylan John could be DJ!

DoIDareDisturbTheUniverse · 10/03/2017 20:59

Edward... although I may be biased Wink

GavelRavel · 10/03/2017 21:01

Dylan for me but I am biased. Edward is inoffensive though. For me Edward is traditional, solid, maybe slightly unadventurous. Dylan used to be a bit more unusual (outside of Wales) not so much these days but round here comes across as a bit more modern/non traditional

chatnanny · 10/03/2017 21:03

I agree with those who say Edward and all
It's diminutives are traditional, solid. Dylan as well as very Welsh is modern. Depends what you want to connote.
