My daughter's called Mali. But pronounced Mahli. Like the country. I've never met another.

I'd go for Mali but I live in Wales and we have loads of Serens. A few Malis but not so many.

That's how we pronounce it OP, but I thought the welsh version was pronounced Mally. Because she gets that a lot

I pronounce it Marley. Be prepared for people to put an 'r' in it though! Like Marli!

Malia's a really tacky pisshead resort in Crete or somewhere, don't use that

Both are lovely. I briefly considered Seren if my baby had been a girl but we already have one in the family so decided against it. Shame as it's very pretty. Mali is lovely as well and more usual which is a plus for some people.
