Name for Dd3

Deliberating over a name for Dd3, born yesterday. We already have Emma Rosie and Charlotte Lucy. We have a long list of possibilities but current forerunners are Harriet, Daisy, Laura and Eleanor (Nell). Any suggestions/thoughts gratefully received, thanks.

Out of your options I think I like Eleanor Lucy or Lucy Eleanor the best. I'm not keen on Daisy for an adult though it's cute on a child. I like Harriet, but I think it's a mouthful with Charlotte.

Other thoughts:

Anna
Hannah
Suzanne
Elspeth
Audra
Sylvia
Sophie

Congratulations btw Flowers didn't mean to be so rude!

SuperBeagle · 12/02/2017 19:39

I like Daisy Eleanor the best. Smile

I'm not a fan of Harriet (but love Hattie - go figure), and I think Laura is still a bit dated.

SuperBeagle · 12/02/2017 19:40

Also, agree with Hannah as a suggestion. That was the first name that came to mind when I saw the names of the two DDs you already have. Smile

Congratulations OP ! 💐
Laura Daisy, you don't hear of many baby Laura's.

howtheheckdoidealwiththis · 12/02/2017 19:56

Laura!

Kjgr16 · 12/02/2017 20:00

Thanks, you didn't! I probably wasn't clear (post birth haze) Emma Rosie and Charlotte Lucy are dds1 and 2.

I have similar slight reservations about Daisy but would happily use it as a middle name if not first name.

Hannah, Anna and Elspeth are on the longer list!

I don't think Daisy matches. I think Laura works best.

Eleanor

Kjgr16 · 12/02/2017 20:03

Thanks! Hannah is a lovely name although we do know lots of them.

Eleanor and Harriet are a bit more classic IMO. Not a fan of Daisy on an actual adult.

Kjgr16 · 12/02/2017 20:09

Thanks, yes I love Daisy for a girls name but less sure for an adult.

Ahh, sorry about the Lucy/Laura mix up. I like Lucy better that Laura though :)

Puremince · 12/02/2017 20:18

Laura Daisy!

Kjgr16 · 12/02/2017 20:18

We liked it too Smile but as it is an aunt's name we used it in the middle.

Congratulations!! Flowers I like Eleanor and Laura the most, Eleanor Daisy is lovely. Also really love Anna, it's very classic and timeless. Not so keen on Harriet tbh.

AnnetteKertan · 12/02/2017 22:06

I love Daisy but like that Laura isn't very popular these days and I think it goes better with Emma and Charlotte. Also think below work

Congratulations on your DD Flowers

I have a Charlotte and a Matilda. I'm PG and completely stumped for girls names so I'm watching with interest.

Ellasshitholekitchen · 12/02/2017 22:27

I have two DDs I can imagine us having another and call her Megan. I think it goes lovely with Emma and Charlotte

TalkingofMichaelAngel0 · 12/02/2017 22:27

Susannah?

Or eleanor.
