Jedidiah so he can be called Jed.

GinIsIn · 11/02/2017 21:03

Jedidiah always sounds slightly like the person saying it has a speech impediment to me - sorry!

JanuaryJuniper · 11/02/2017 21:03

Oh yes love Jed and Jedi (don't care if we look like Star Wars fans)

I like both, I think Otis is a bit easier to get through life with, shorter and easier to say.

justdontevenfuckingstart · 11/02/2017 21:06

Just cal him Jed.

KatieScarlett · 11/02/2017 21:06

Otis is uplifting

EssentialHummus · 11/02/2017 21:07

Otis, by far.

TheLegendOfBeans · 11/02/2017 21:08

Oooh I love Jedediah

justdontevenfuckingstart · 11/02/2017 21:11

How is Otis easier than Jed? they're both fine. Am gonna throw Kesh out there cos I love it.

TheresABluebirdOnMyShoulder · 11/02/2017 21:13

Otis is lovely. I met a little 6 mo Otis today and he was the most beautiful, chubby, smiley baby.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 11/02/2017 21:15

Jedediah of corse.

Jedi for short.

Otis is a cat's name anyway.

fledglingFTB · 11/02/2017 21:17

Otis ❤️

PovertyJetset · 11/02/2017 21:20

Not keen on Jedediah. It's a mouthful.

Otis is.... ubiquitous. But nice enough.

Jed reminds me of Jed from Oklahoma!

VanillaSugar · 11/02/2017 21:23

Otis Lifts

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 11/02/2017 21:23

Jedediah love Jed.

KlingybunFistelvase · 11/02/2017 21:35

Otis. I like both though. Jedediah is quite a lot of syllables which somehow makes it sounds fussier, but I do like it. Otis is cooler.

reuset · 11/02/2017 21:37

Jedidiah is a bit of a mouthful, and you can guarantee the 'didiah' part would be discarded within days and he'd be universally known as Jed. Grin So I prefer Otis

IHaveBrilloHair · 11/02/2017 21:37

Otis, unless you are from Utah.

Blossomdeary · 11/02/2017 21:51

KatieScarlett - love that! Grin

I think both names leave a great deal to be desired, especially the one that sounds a though your false teeth are falling out.

ExpectoPatronummmm · 11/02/2017 21:58

Otis is a well known lift manafacturer

Jedidiah sounds like you're a morman living on what if those crazy cult camps in America where they don't have tv or phones etc

Jooni · 11/02/2017 22:09

Otis

JanuaryJuniper · 11/02/2017 22:12

Pmsl at "leaves a lot to be desired" well that told me Wink

RedSauce · 11/02/2017 22:12

Otis! I love Otis.

JanuaryJuniper · 11/02/2017 22:16

I'm probably leaning towards Otis as dh loves it and doesn't like Jedidiah, I would be happy with either!

What about Josiah? Also known as Jed (which is a fantastic name)? Easier to spell and pronounce and very similar.
