I like Jack, even though it's popular.

RedSauce · 10/02/2017 17:07

I like Jack but I prefer Caspian.

Jooni · 10/02/2017 17:28

I like both, but Caspian feels quite OTT. Depends which way you want to go really. I think I'd go with Jack personally.

Congratulations! Flowers

MiniAlphaBravo · 10/02/2017 17:30

Jack

JunebabyT · 10/02/2017 17:34

Personally jack. I do like caspian but it is quite a brave choice. What about Casper too ?

pilates · 10/02/2017 17:53

Jack, one of my favourite boys name.

Positivitee · 10/02/2017 18:03

Caspian. Jack is terribly over used and surely has a lot of negative connotations?

Lehinch · 10/02/2017 18:22

Definitely Jack. I think Caspian is a bit twee.

Congratulations on your new baby Flowers

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 10/02/2017 18:48

Jack.

BobbieDog · 10/02/2017 18:49

Jack

Caspian reminds me of casper

Ilovecaindingle · 10/02/2017 18:50

Caspian
Jack is boring!!

mum2be2boys · 10/02/2017 18:51

Congratulations! Another vote for Jack. Caspian makes me think of the character in the Narnia series.

ArriettyClock1 · 10/02/2017 18:52

Both nice but Jack - so common! I would go for something less prolific so it's Caspian for me.

rattieofcarcassone · 10/02/2017 19:58

Caspian! I love Caspian, DH vetoed it for us though :(

KlingybunFistelvase · 10/02/2017 20:09

Jack is nice, but I much prefer Caspian. It's lovely!

Ordinarily · 10/02/2017 20:12

Jack was the no.1 boys name for years, so Caspian is more unusual. I also think of Jack as being quite nicknamey, as although it's a "stand alone" name too, it's traditionally a nickname for John.

Sophronia · 10/02/2017 23:51

Both very different in style and feel. I definitely prefer Jack, it's much more down to earth.

Ankleswingers · 10/02/2017 23:54

Love Jack Grin

SuperBeagle · 11/02/2017 02:37

Jack.

If it were between Jack and Caspar, I'd choose Caspar. I don't like Caspian.

octoberfarm · 11/02/2017 03:22

I have a Casper Jack so love both names, but would have gone for Caspian had it worked better with our last name. Have you tried imagining him grown up, and thinking about which you feel would work better then? Sounds silly but I always think of names on a wedding invite, or saying I do, or introducing himself in a business setting, and that helped me get a feel for the long term too. Both are fab though, and congratulations!

lazydog · 11/02/2017 04:16

Caspian. It's really unusual, but I do like it. I prefer it to Caspar too. Jack is just too popular and a bit boring...

BradleyPooper · 11/02/2017 04:19

Caspian. I used to live a mile from the Caspian Sea....

CaoNiMa · 11/02/2017 06:14

Extremely different names!

If you want him to blend in, go with Jack. Lovely strong but very popular name.

Caspian is gorgeous but it's a showstopper. Nobody will forget a Caspian!

Garnethair · 11/02/2017 07:03

Caspian. Love the Narnia books

KoalaDownUnder · 11/02/2017 08:47

Caspian. Prefer Caspar though.

Jack is dull.
