Nicknames for James

Hi,

We have called DS (7 weeks) James and intended to call him this but we are finding that we are calling him Jamie some of the time. He seems to suit it. Family members have also asked us which nickname we are using.

It got me thinking, what do you think of the different nicknames for James? What is your favourite/least favourite?

I can think of:

Jamie
Jim
Jimmy
Jay

Just have James. Its a nice name.

My James is Jim, Jimi, Jimbo, Jamesie, Jemima is a funny one. One of his friends calls him Jamie but I'm not so keen.

Oh I forgot Jimmer...that's one I often call him!

Thanks for the comments! There are definitely some nicknames I have never come across before. We hadn't intended to use a nickname but James seems a bit grown up for our little bald baby, I'm sure he will suit it a bit better when he's a bit older!
