Ethan or Oscar?

We think we've narrowed down our list of boys names to a top two...

Ethan or Oscar.

Which do you prefer?

Other names left on our list are Adam, Samuel, Ryan and Oliver.

Big brother is Matthew.

I love Oscar.

I have an irrational dislike for Ethan. Possibly due to knowing someone with a speech impediment who pronounces if eefan.

Oh just saw other options and really like Adam and Samuel too. Oscar still pips it for me though.

I like them both, probably prefer Oscar. Not so keen on the others. Why not wait and see what he suits when he's here (unless he has arrived already...)

Thank you everyone! I'm still not sure between either of them to be honest, nothing seems to feel right at the moment.

I love my oldest son's name and nothing seems to compare at the moment! I think all of the others on the list have been the favourite at one point or another. It feels like this baby is going to be nameless when he gets here!

I like Ethan because I like that it shares the 'th' sound with Matthew, but it doesn't feel enough at the moment.

I know Ethan is high on the top 100 list, but I've only met one in real life (who is 12) and I don't know any Oscars at all!
