We are from Arizona.

Love both Isabelle and Katelynn Smile

Which do you prefer?

Katelynn

Hate Izzy as a NN and it is way too common.

Katelynn sounds lovely, has lovely NNs and is not as common

Cosmic1988 · 02/02/2017 22:19

Thank you. I love the way Katelynn sounds! Really dislike the Caitlin/Katelyn pronunciation (something like Kat-eh-lynn) which I know is really bad!

Caitlin is pronounced slightly differently in Ireland, but I know several Caitlins with no Irish roots who pronounce their name Kate-lin.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 02/02/2017 22:30

Katelynn.

AyeAmarok · 02/02/2017 22:32

I prefer Isabelle.

Sophronia · 02/02/2017 23:47

Isabelle

Kittykatmacbill · 02/02/2017 23:58

Isabelle by about billion times. Although Isobel is a way nicer.

Raines100 · 03/02/2017 06:27

Isabelle

WanderingTrolley1 · 03/02/2017 06:31

Isabelle. Can't stand made-up names.

Pipilangstrumpf · 03/02/2017 08:30

Both are nice but I agree that Isabel//Isabelle/Isabella is a bit dull due to overuse.

Pipilangstrumpf · 03/02/2017 08:31

Every name was made up at some point Hmm

joannegrady90 · 03/02/2017 13:51

Katelynn is horrid!

KlingybunFistelvase · 03/02/2017 14:01

I would pronounce Caitlin and Katelynn the same way but I have an Irish accent.

I like both, but slightly prefer Isabelle.

Dolwar · 03/02/2017 16:42

I like Caitlin (pronounced exactly the same way as Katelynn) but not Katelynn as it's made up. Isabelle is also nice. I'd go for Caitlin but if you won't spell it the normal way then Isabelle.

zukiecat · 07/02/2017 13:08

I'm biased towards Caitlin as it's DD1's middle name

We're Scottish and pronounce it Katelynn

Pipilangstrumpf · 07/02/2017 14:09

Caitlin and Katelynn may be pronounced the same, but if you were keen on the nickname Kate then Katelyn works better imo.

Prefer Isobel to Isabelle and Caitlin to Katelynn - and out of the two, Caitlin.

MollyHuaCha · 07/02/2017 14:13

Isabelle. (Caitlin second)

rainbowstardrops · 07/02/2017 14:14

Isabelle. Belle as a nn is really sweet.
I personally don't like Katelynn

Ordinarily · 07/02/2017 14:32

Isabelle.

viques · 07/02/2017 14:35

Isobel. classic and beautiful. Katelynn looks as though you didn't know how to spell Caitlin.

AuntieMay · 07/02/2017 15:24

Isabelle is lovely
Katelynn is Caitlin spelt badly as pp says
Caitlin is a lovely name though

AmazingBobby · 07/02/2017 16:03

In all fairness, Katelynn isn't Caitlin spelt differently.

Caitlin is a full name said completely differently and Katelynn is Kate and Lynn together to form a name said a different way.

pilates · 07/02/2017 16:06

Isabelle.
Sorry strongly dislike Katelynn.
