Choose just one!

KlingybunFistelvase · 02/02/2017 17:14

Wight maybe?

FannyWisdom · 02/02/2017 17:14

No you can't.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/02/2017 17:15

Oh dear. Yeah, I think you'd better just use yours.

Tanaqui · 02/02/2017 17:16

Wight, Whitnight, or possibly even Whytenight would be better!

BookNut · 02/02/2017 17:18

Whight maybe as a compromise?

AllTheLight · 02/02/2017 17:22

No you can't!! Go with just yours.

ErrolTheDragon · 02/02/2017 17:23

'Wight' nowadays seems to be used for some sort of ghost or undead thing - not sure that'd be a good idea.

neonrainbow · 02/02/2017 17:23

No of course you can't.

strawberrypenguin · 02/02/2017 17:24

Umm not really. White Knight if you must the other way round just looks like you've tried to hide it badly.
I like the idea of a mash up of your names though - you could all change to it then

DesolateWaist · 02/02/2017 17:26

Call the child something like Galahad, or Lancelot and it'll be fine.
Just style it out.

EweAreHere · 02/02/2017 17:27

Style it out. Grin

Just use your last name. It's your baby, no reason why you shouldn't.

FannyWisdom · 02/02/2017 17:30

White Knight of the ....

duvetttpol · 02/02/2017 17:30

It's also DP's baby!

Not keen on the idea of a mashup. I guess I'll rethink

Jooni · 02/02/2017 17:50

Haha Desolate!

OP, no I'm afraid you can't really. Pick one and use the other as a middle perhaps? Or is there another family surname on either side which could be double-barrelled less... amusingly? Grin

Isadora2007 · 02/02/2017 17:51

Awwww. Kind of cute. A wee baby white knight. Loving the idea of going with a Camelot theme...

DesolateWaist · 02/02/2017 18:13

Oh come on. Guinevere White Knight.
She would be so damn cool.

Kelsey28 · 02/02/2017 18:23

I would just use his name.

Bluntness100 · 02/02/2017 18:33

No, don't do it, it's like calling your child Burger King.

sm40 · 02/02/2017 18:37

Our old tumble dryer was by a company called white night! I immediately thought of that!

ExpectoPatronummmm · 02/02/2017 18:38

Double barrel surnames are ridiculous and un needed.
I'm not married and my kids have taken my OHs surname. Doesn't mean anything that my surname wasn't used.

duvetttpol · 02/02/2017 18:39

Why would you just use his name?

I like my surname lmao and really want to keep it.

OP posts:
KlingybunFistelvase · 02/02/2017 18:42

How about your mum's maiden name (if it's different to yours) double barrelled with your dps?

EduCated · 02/02/2017 18:45

Or DP's mums maiden name and OP's name?

Unfortunately it is the sort of combination that will bring a lifetime of comments!

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 02/02/2017 18:46

Just do it. I have a friend who double barrels her Green with her husband's Pepper. Why not?
