Which of these do you prefer? Rosamund, Isolde etc

We are looking for a romantic name with historical associations or a celtic/british isles connection.

Our short list at the moment is:
Rosamonde or Rosamund
Isolde ee-zold or Iseult ee-zolt (if anybody watched 'The Last Kingdom' it is pronounced like that.) we aren't sure which pronunciation is better.
Guinevere - the association may be a bit much
Kerensa (cornish name)
Elowen - another modern cornish name
Gwendolyn

Preferences? Can anyone suggest names that would fit this criteria that we might not have considered?

Middle name is Bridget as a tribute to a family member

I couldn't have Rosamund because it makes me think of Calvin and Hobbes's babysitter Rosalind
I like Isolde

I love them all!

My favourite is probably Rosamund, closely followed by Isolde.

What about Igraine?

I love Isolde.

How about Olwen?

I also love Nimue (NIM you ay) but I'm not brace enough to use it.

I like Kerensa and Elowen the best. DD has friends called Ceridwen & Tanwen, both of which I think are beautiful.

Weirdly, an acquaintance of mine has three DDs and all three names are in your list!

Kerensa. Is Carenza the same name just different spelling?

Guinivere, Rosamund or Gwendolyn. Gwendolyn is on my list but I think people assume gwendolyn is welsh which might be annoying because I'm not! Although apparently it appears in authurian legend.

Elowen is lovely!

Rosamund would become a Ros and I do not like that at all even though the full name is lovely.

Beautiful names but honestly I wouldn't go for any of them.

I have a Cornish name and no one can say it and I'm constantly repeating myself. In the same vein, my French friend got so fed up of being called I-sold she changed hers.

Isolde is pretty.... I have a friend called Kerensa and she us the nicest and most beautiful girl I've ever met so the name has good connotations for me!

You don't stress the 'i' quite like that to make 'ee'. Watch a production of Tristan and Isolde. Also 'i' zold -uh is fairly common pronunction in UK. Be careful using a name where you're not sure about pronunciation.

Isolde, Rosamund and Elowen are the ones I like best.

Gwendolyn would inevitably end up as Gwen, which is less dramatic Cornish legend and more middle-aged middle manager.... ;) But if you like Welsh names, what about Gwenfair, which is lovely and a bit more unusual?

Guinevere a bit OTT. Also the modern form is likely Jennifer, which is somewhat less romantic.

What about Tamsin or Tamzyn? (Cornish)

Demelza is a bloody cool name. So is Morgana.

Off your list I like Gwendolyn the best.

I thought Isolde was "is-old-uh"

I'd assume Iseult was "is-oh" too, as the end would make me assume it was a silent lt (like Renault, Chenault etc).

The only one I like is Kerensa, because it seems the least OTT and it could be shortened to Ren which is sweet.

Isolde is lovely on principle but shell spend her whole life with it mispronounced. Don't do it to her
