Like it but all I think about is that song from bugsy malone ..

Sophronia · 21/01/2017 12:35

I like it spelled Tallulah

thebakerwithboobs · 21/01/2017 12:39

Two Ls is better I think but lovely-I used to teach a Tallulah and she was known as Lulu. Sweet girl. Not that that has any bearing!

TDmoocher · 21/01/2017 13:23

Like.it, prefer Tallulah spelling

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/01/2017 13:24

I like it, Tallulah.
I also like Loula.

Stonewash · 21/01/2017 13:49

I like it.

bakingaddict · 21/01/2017 13:53

Honestly......its a wee bit chavvy

SaltyMyDear · 21/01/2017 13:54

Was tallulah in bugs you malone a prostitute?

MitzyLeFrouf · 21/01/2017 14:50

I've always thought Tallulah sounds quite exotic dancer-y but apparently there was an ancient Irish saint of that name! Maybe she used to dance for the monks and then saw the (holy) light...

JournosAreLazy · 21/01/2017 15:28

I also prefer it spelt Tallulah. I love it gor others but wouldn't call a DD of my own it for some reason. Lula is a nice nn.

marmitecrumpets · 21/01/2017 15:30

I love Tallulah. Go for it! Xxx

AuntiePenguin · 21/01/2017 15:35

Can't hear it without thinking of (and probably singing) the bugsy malone song, but I guess that won't be so popular in her age group?

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 21/01/2017 15:38

Salty lounge singer and hostess I thought.

rollonthesummer · 21/01/2017 15:39

It makes me think of Bugatti Malone but I really love that film so it's not such an awful thing!!

Lulu is a cute name too.

MitzyLeFrouf · 21/01/2017 15:41

I can't imagine the green light being given to an 11 year old playing that character these days. It was a bit ambiguous and definitely very adult.

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 21/01/2017 15:46

Nope, really don't like it.

EmmaC78 · 21/01/2017 18:54

I don't really like it either. It isn't the worst name but not one I would ever pick.

Pluto30 · 21/01/2017 20:49

I don't like it because it doesn't roll off the tongue very well.

I think Elon Musk's ex-wife is a Tallulah.

PeggyMitchell123 · 21/01/2017 20:53

I think it's a nice name. Would never use it myself though, it's my mum's cat name Grin

Couple of girls at ds's school called Tallulah and they're very sweet and not chavvy at all.

Raines100 · 21/01/2017 21:13

I've always thought it was a joke name for a pet or a doll. It's ridiculously frilly. I think you'd struggle to be taken seriously with a moniker like that. I wonder if the British registrars would let you have 'Does-The-Hula-In-Hawaii' for a middle name? The Kiwis didn't go for it.

AshesandDust · 21/01/2017 21:20

I think it's a lovely name, it's one of my all time favourites.

TheNotoriousRBG · 21/01/2017 21:29

I love it but wasn't brave enough to use it. Tally and Lulu are both cute nicknames. In the end it was just too cutesy. I'd go for a stronger name.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 21/01/2017 21:32

We had a hamster called Tallulah. She was a supercilious little bit hectic unhelpful, sorry
