Monty!

ICJump · 21/01/2017 03:21

Gus or auggie

chipsnmayo · 21/01/2017 06:57

Augustus, i've always loved that name. And I really like Gus as a nn.

Luckystar1 · 21/01/2017 07:04

Augustus. Amazing name!

Lunar1 · 21/01/2017 07:05

Monty obviously, it's lovely.

Pluto30 · 21/01/2017 07:05

Burns or Gloop are the associations.

I like August, but not keen on Augustus. I'd still pick that over Montgomery though.

sonlypuppyfat · 21/01/2017 07:15

My friends dad used to keep rabbits and they were all called Monty

JournosAreLazy · 21/01/2017 08:48

I love the name Gus but don't really like Augustus. What about Magnus?

I like Montgomery/Monty too though.

MiniMaxi · 21/01/2017 09:00

Gus for me!

MarmiteDoesYouGood · 21/01/2017 09:06

I think Monty is horrible, sorry. I like Augustus and August, not sure on Gus as a nickname but still MUCH nicer than Montgomery and Monty.

NormaSmuff · 21/01/2017 09:07

well i came on to say Monty as a shortened Montgomery but now see you have shorted Augustus to Gus,
I like Gus.

NormaSmuff · 21/01/2017 09:07

i dont like Augustus though,
what would the name be?

TheCakes · 21/01/2017 09:08

Fabulous names for cats

GinAndOnIt · 21/01/2017 09:10

Gus is my dog's name! I like it though, obviously.

Nataleejah · 21/01/2017 09:11

I'd prefer August or Augustin

oldbirdy · 21/01/2017 09:13

Or Angus....

oldbirdy · 21/01/2017 09:14

Or Fergus...
Both much nicer than Augustus if what you really want is a Gus, IMO.

NormaSmuff · 21/01/2017 09:16

oh agree oldbird.
Fergus, and then you can call him Gus.
but would you really want his school records/health records to state Augustus?

Pleasemrstweedie · 21/01/2017 09:19

Monty is now a dog's name. Augustus sounds a bit pretentious in my view, but could you get away with Atticus?

dementedma · 21/01/2017 09:23

Angus, or Fergus if you want Gus. Makes me think of pus or gussets though..

olympicsrock · 21/01/2017 09:27

No Monty!

kittybiscuits · 21/01/2017 09:29

Neither!

LiefieLiefie · 21/01/2017 09:42

Love Gus, but prefer August to Augustus.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 21/01/2017 09:51

Agustín/ nn Gus. There was a lovely boy called Augustine at school a couple of years ago so I have positive associations with the name. Not always the case..! Smile
