My husband and I have it down to four possibilities, but we're struggling to decide. Any thoughts?

Absolutely Sebastian. Miles better than all the others.

My order of preference would be:

1. Sebastian (Lovely name in its complete form. Seb as NN also fine).

1. Aiden (Prefer the "Aidan" spelling, but both are nice. And not overused. Unless, I guess, if you're living in Ireland/ within a strong Irish community!).

1. Jackson (Like it in its full form. Though may well get shortened to Jack, which is so, so popular).

1. Tristan

Sebastian. Tristan isn't too bad, but. The other 2 Aiden and Jackson are awful

Maybe consider the nn each would have and go from there.

I don't agree about Jack being popular. It was 20 years ago. You were falling over them, but it seems to be dying out now

Funny how the popularity of certain names varies, depending on region: there are still a lot of Jacks around these parts! Especially of toddler age.

Personally, I like the name, but perhaps OP's not as keen?

Sebastian is lovely, the others not so ..

Love Sebastian. Tristan is okay. Don't like Aiden or Jackson.

If I had to choose I would go for Tristan with nn Tris.

Sebastian Is the best I think. Or I would go for jack but maybe not Jackson

I like Aiden best though I prefer it spelt Aidan.
